Dan Anthony - Head Coach

I’ve played and coached tennis for over 25 years, and in that time I’ve learned that the most important part of coaching is helping players feel confident, supported, and able to make meaningful progress. Every player is different, so I take a personalised and adaptive approach — understanding what each individual needs to learn, why it matters, and how to help it stick.

My coaching is positive, clear and player-focused. Whether I’m working with a child holding a racket for the first time, an adult returning to the game after a break, or a player training for competition, my aim is the same:

build real skill, real confidence, and a real enjoyment of the game.

I communicate in a way that makes sense and feels encouraging — no jargon, no pressure, no judgment. Just simple improvements that help tennis feel easier, more achievable, and more fun.

Tennis is a sport for life.
I’d love to help you (or your child) enjoy the journey.
